My engagement sessions are really a lifestyle session focused on your relationship. For me it all starts with capturing life to make images believable. More than knowing how to use a camera is the ability to connect and have fun with the people in front of the camera. While I do shoot some styled session, almost ALL of me engagement session is having two people show up and going out and having some fun.

More and more you see stylized shoots but I think the biggest flaw is when the people in the shoot get lost to all the details and surroundings. For me, it is about getting the personalities to come through. It is about getting people to have expressions in their pictures that they thought could never look like. That is my job. To get you to to a place of comfort and confidence. I shoot with and for the personalities. Stylized shoots can be great but when it becomes more than the personalities you are shooting it just becomes to canned for me.
